Jiangsu Taizhou Fishery-Solar Complementary 100 MW Project
The Jiangsu Taizhou Fishery-Solar Complementary 100 MW Project is a large-scale "PV + aquaculture" ground-mounted photovoltaic power station built on crab and fish ponds in Taizhou, Jiangsu. It adopts the fishery-solar complementary model: power generation above the water surface and aquaculture below, realizing comprehensive land resource utilization without occupying farmland.
Wuxi Chenglida Machinery Co., Ltd. delivered the whole set of customized fishery-solar photovoltaic mounting structures for this project. Considering the special pond environment with high humidity, water splash, mud and possible seasonal flooding, the support system chooses hot-dip galvanized steel main columns and AL6005-T5 aluminium alloy purlins, with SUS304 stainless steel fasteners. The structure is designed with elevated height, reserved water passage space and good drainage performance, which protects aquaculture and avoids long-term immersion corrosion.
The engineering team completed structural calculation based on local wind load, snow load and flood level requirements. The bracket system adopts modular design, which is convenient for on-site piling, installation and later maintenance. Before delivery, all components passed salt spray test, dimensional inspection and static load verification.
This project can generate about 149 million kWh of clean electricity every year after operation, reducing carbon emissions significantly. It is a typical fishery-solar complementary case in East China. If you have fishery-solar, agri-solar or wetland ground PV projects, contact us for anti-corrosion solar mounting solutions.
